Mechanical and electrical specialist CORE M&E Maintenance has launched as a standalone business following the demerger of IM Maintenance and Technical Services (IMMTS) from IM Mechanical & Electrical Services (IMMES).
The launch of CORE M&E Maintenance forms part of a wider CORE brand, which also includes CORE Technical Services, focusing on building services design and renovation, and CORE Interiors, delivering interior fit-out solutions.
CORE M&E Maintenance operates across mechanical, electrical and air conditioning services in London and the surrounding areas. As part of the demerger, the business has assumed responsibility for an established portfolio of HVAC and building services maintenance contracts, alongside ongoing project-based fit-out activity for selected customers.
The business has two primary revenue streams: ongoing maintenance and technical services, supporting both buildings it has fitted out and systems installed by others, alongside project based mechanical and electrical fit outs, including HVAC and air conditioning installations. Managing Director Steve Braddick, who previously led IMMTS, said the new structure provides clarity for clients while allowing each business to focus on its specialist area.
βThe CORE brand allows us to clearly define the skills and services which each part of the business brings to our clients. CORE M&E Maintenance is focused on long term HVAC and building services performance, while CORE Technical Services and CORE Interiors support design-led refurbishment and fit out. Together, they allow us to support clients across the full building lifecycle,β said Braddick.
CORE M&E Maintenance will continue to support existing customers while developing new relationships with organisations seeking an engineering-led approach to HVAC maintenance, compliance and system performance.
